Jennifer Lopez has finally opened up about her split from Ben Affleck — and her words are raw, reflective, and empowering. Speaking candidly in a recent interview, the global icon admitted that their divorce, finalized earlier this year, was “the most painful chapter” of her life, but also the one that led to the greatest personal growth.
“It hurt like hell,” Lopez confessed, “but it taught me who I really am. I don’t regret the love, but I needed to lose it to find myself again.”
While promoting her upcoming musical film Kiss of the Spider Woman, Lopez admitted that working on set helped her stay afloat emotionally. Ironically, the film was produced by Affleck, creating a unique emotional dynamic during filming. Despite the tension behind the scenes, Lopez said she poured her emotions into the role.
“I wasn’t just acting — I was healing,” she said. “Every scene felt like a step forward.”
