Summary

Rajinikanth plays, a respected former coolie union leader who now runs a youth hostel for poor and orphaned boys in Chennai. Once a fierce worker rights activist, Deva has left his past behind—until tragedy strikes.

When one of his hostel boys mysteriously dies in what the police call a suicide, Deva suspects foul play. As he digs deeper, he uncovers a dark underworld of organ trafficking and corporate exploitation tied to a luxury hospital run by a powerful businessman (Nagarjuna, in a menacing role).

Deva’s investigation puts him back in the spotlight, drawing both enemies and allies from his past. A cat-and-mouse game ensues as he battles criminals, corrupt politicians, and betrayal—all while trying to protect his boys and uncover the truth.

The story features flashbacks that reveal Deva’s younger days (with Rajinikanth digitally de-aged), where he fought for justice as a coolie, earning love from the masses and fear from the elite.
