A new biopic titled “Maa Vande” has been announced to depict the life of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The film stars Malayalam actor Unni Mukundan and is directed by Telugu filmmaker Kranthi Kumar. The announcement was made on Modi’s 75th birthday, September 17, 2025.
The movie will cover Modi’s journey from his childhood to becoming India’s Prime Minister, with a special focus on his relationship with his mother. The film’s tagline is “The Anthem of a Mother,” highlighting the emotional connection at its core.
“Maa Vande” is planned for release in multiple languages across India in 2026. The film features a strong production team, including notable experts in cinematography, music, editing and set design.
